This Smart Bobcat Takes A Long Leap Over Water

There is no time for us city people to bond with nature. We drive through traffic-filled roads, run to work, come back home and repeat. How can we have any time to observe nature at that pace? We’re busy!
Nature, the mother of us all, is playing a dreamy show out there. If we open our eyes and pay attention, we won’t miss it. If you feel fed up with your busy life, why don’t you take a small retreat? And observe?

There were some guys who were lucky enough to capture a moment of this beautiful show. These guys were fishing for crabs when they saw a Bobcat.

It’s uncommon to see one at broad daylight because these cats are night-crawlers. Thankful for today’s technology, as soon as they saw the cat across the dam, they were able to quickly catch him on their cameras. Now, we all have seen cats taking leaps across roofs or in our backyards. This was something like that, but, way more interesting and awesome.

When it reached the dam, the guys understood what it was about to do. While they were still watching and recording, the cat squats down, flexing its muscles and taking positions for the jump. For the guys, fishing is long-time forgotten. This show was worth all the fish and crabs they missed.

Suddenly, the cat releases all its collected energy and takes the jump nice and clean to the other side of the dam. Not stopping there, this animal took more long leaps on to the next logs, as if it has had way greater experiences before.

Scientifically known as Lynx rufus, these cats prefer living by themselves alone. Not only jumping, but they are specialists in running at a speed of up to 48kmph.
